This is a great opportunity for an experienced and versatile Crane Operator to join our team working on the Fortescue Decarbonisation project located at Eliwana. Civmec’s scope covers procurement, construction, installation, verification, and commissioning of three main facility groups:

1. Light Mobile Equipment (LME) Charger Facilities

2. Support Mobile Equipment (SME) Charger Facilities

3. Pit Power (PP) Facilities

Currently in Civil Scope, Kicked off in January 2026 this Project offers a 2:1 roster from Perth Airport - Long Term Opportunity

(This role involves minimal lifting work and the successful operator must be willing and able to undertake a variety of additional duties when crane operations are not required)

The Role

Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:

• • Operating 20-25T Franna and 160T All-Terrain Hydraulic Crane as needed
  • Perform other general duties as required such as assisting other Trades when lifts are not scheduled
  • Driving the Flatbed Truck and Prime Mover when required
  • General Housekeeping
  • Supporting day‑to‑day site operations

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Open C6 (or higher) Mobile Crane Licence – required for operating the 160T all‑terrain crane
• CN licence – required for operating the 25T Franna
• Current High risk elevating work platform license
• Current Drivers Licence (HR)
• Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
• Previous construction experience
• Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
