As an experienced Contract Administrator, you will assist our civil and bulk earthworks projects in remote South Australia and Northern Territory.

The successful candidate will work a 14 days on, 7 days off roster on site, reporting directly to the Project Manager.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

  • Monitoring all contract deadlines and conditions;
  • Preparing monthly progress claims;
  • Preparing and tracking execution of contract change management;
  • Assisting in drafting contractual correspondence with the client, including: Potential variations, Extensions of time, Delay notices, Request for information, and Non-conformances;
  • Compiling all documents necessary for subcontracts and procurement;
  • Administration of all supplier and subcontractor contract requirements;
  • Ensuring timely delivery of all project deliverables;
  • Entering daily production data and lodging daily production reports;
  • Tracking and reporting weekly project status;
  • Assisting the project management team with day to day resourcing of the project, contract administration, and the management of subcontractors; and
  • Assisting the project leadership team and engineers when required.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the below criteria:
  • Previous experience in a related role or relevant tertiary education;
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Primavera P6;
  • Able to extract and interpret key data and information in a timely and accurate manner from plans, specifications, and contract documentation;
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills;
  • Proactive and driven to meet deadlines;
  • Highly commercial and confidential;
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with staff, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors;
  • Maintain ultimate accountability over their work and able to work autonomously or in a team; and
  • Ability to work in remote locations.
