The Role:

Looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? Join Adbri Concrete in Alice Springs as a Casual Agitator Driver and become part of a supportive, close-knit team. This newly created role has been introduced to provide additional support during busy periods, giving you the opportunity to pick up shifts when demand is high while enjoying variety in your work.

We're looking for someone who enjoys staying active, is happy to roll up their sleeves, and can be available for early morning starts when needed.

What your day looks like:

No two days are the same. Depending on operational requirements, your shifts may vary, with work typically available during our busiest periods and early mornings from 6am. You can expect a mix of driving and hands-on yard duties, including:

  • Operating agitator trucks delivering concrete to local and remote sites
  • Travelling across regional and remote areas (sometimes up to 300km)
  • Supporting yard operations including washing down trucks, basic maintenance and general labouring
  • Assisting across the site and quarry operations when required

As a casual team member, shift lengths and days may vary depending on workload and weather conditions. Some weeks may offer several shorter shifts across the week, while other weeks may involve longer days when demand is high.

What we're looking for:

We're open to training the right person - attitude matters more than experience. To be successful, you'll have:

  • HR Licence and White Card (essential)
  • Availability for early morning starts from 6am
  • Flexibility to work shifts based on operational demand
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Comfort working in outdoor and remote environments
  • A proactive mindset - someone who looks for ways to help beyond just driving
