Working closely with the Estimating Manager and Senior Estimators, you will progressively build the skills and experience required to step into a qualified Estimator role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and administration of estimates, cost plans, and purchase orders

• Request, receive, and review supplier and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and scope

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders in line with approved estimates

• Support the administration of post-contract variations, including processing and documentation

• Review supplier pricing updates and assist with maintaining system accuracy

• Manage invoice checks for over-orders, duplicate invoices, or discrepancies

• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to clarify scopes and pricing

• Maintain organised records for quotes, variations, and supplier correspondence

• Support estimators with day-to-day workload requirements as needed

About You

• Up to 2 years’ experience in construction, estimating, or a building-related role, or a recent graduate in a construction-related discipline

• Strong attention to detail with an interest in costs, numbers, and construction processes

• Well-developed communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers and internal teams

• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Desirable (but not essential):

• Study in Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying, or similar

• Exposure to residential construction or estimating software

What We Offer

• A structured career pathway into an Estimator role

• Mentoring and hands-on training from experienced estimating professionals

• A supportive, team-based office environment

• Opportunity to grow with a progressive and expanding residential builder
