Bullock WA is looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker to join its team in Malaga.

As part of an Australian owned manufacturing business with over 35 years of industry experience, you will gain hands on training in a wide range of sheet metal fabrication processes while working alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive workshop environment. This is an excellent opportunity to build practical skills, earn while you learn, and complete a nationally recognised trade qualification.

About the Role
  • As an apprentice, you will learn to:
  • Measure, mark out, cut, fold and assemble sheet metal products
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and production schedules
  • Operate workshop machinery and tools under supervision
  • Perform quality checks on finished products
  • Assist with packing and dispatch of completed orders
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment
  • Support general workshop and production activities
About You

To be successful, you will:

  • Have a genuine interest in engineering, fabrication or manufacturing
  • Be reliable, punctual and committed to workplace safety
  • Have good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Possess basic maths and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy hands-on work and working as part of a team
  • Be physically fit and capable of workshop duties
Highly Regarded
  • Current driver's licence or working towards obtaining one
  • Pre-apprenticeship or school-based experience in engineering or metals
  • Previous workshop, trade or hands-on experience
