Apprentice Boilermaker

Hosted with a reputable business based in Lytton that offers services in aluminum routing, press brake bending, lazer cutting, metal fabricating & powder coating. 

 About the Apprenticeship:

This full-time supervised apprenticeship will provide you with in-depth training relevant to the Engineering Fabrication industry. The successful applicant will conduct all aspects of fabrication work and your duties may include:

• Participate in general fabrication, welding and competency development activities.
• Ensure all work performed to specification and to a high-quality standard.
• Maintain housekeeping to a high standard.
• Ensure all tools and machinery are effectively maintained and secure.
• Always follow and apply all safe working procedures and practices.

About You:

Are you a confident, committed, and motivated individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for the Engineering industry? Our ideal applicant will:

• Hold a valid Queensland Driver Licence
• white card (or willing to obtain)
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Actively listen and effectively communicate
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be motivated and able to handle a fast-paced environment
• Forklift ticket (highly regarded)
• Be available to work 6:30am - 3pm (Mon - Thurs) & 6:30 - 12:30 (Friday)
