We’re seeking an experienced Leading Hand Advanced Rigger with Oil & Gas experience to join our shutdown team on an up and coming Waitsia Gas Plant turnaround.

SCOPE OF WORK 

Approx 02-23/24 September 2026   

Leading a small team

Bus in & Bus out

Assist with organising and coordinating lift plans, permits and lifting activities to ensure safe and efficient execution.

Perform rigging duties in accordance with lift plans, JSA/SWMS and site procedures

Assist crane operators with lifting, positioning and equipment movements

Work safely around plant, vessels, pipework and heavy equipment

 
Qualifications and Experience Required: 

Previous Team Leader experience

Advanced Rigging Licence (RA)

Minimum 4 years' rigging experience within O&G/Energy sector

Current Australian Driver's Licence

Construction White Card

Working at Heights (within 2 years)

Current VOCs (within 2 years)

Strong commitment to workplace safety

Ability to work effectively in shutdown and maintenance environments

Shutdown experience in oil & gas / heavy industry
