IGH is seeking an experienced Administration & Logistics Officer to join our Bibra Lake team.
This is a diverse role that combines administration, customer service, inventory management, logistics coordination, and accounts processing. Working closely with customers, suppliers, transport providers, and operational personnel, you will play a key role in ensuring products move efficiently through our business while maintaining accurate records and delivering a high level of customer service.
This position would suit a proactive and organised individual who enjoys a varied role, can effectively manage their workload, and takes pride in maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating customer deliveries to mine sites and other customer locations.
- Managing stock bookings and inventory movements for fertiliser, grain, mill balls, containers, and other commodities.
- Conducting stock reconciliations and preparing inventory reports for customers.
- Processing driver run sheets and transport documentation.
- Preparing customer invoices and supporting accounts administration activities.
- Coordinating export container packing schedules across operational sites.
- Managing interstate import shipments and coordinating final delivery requirements.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, transport providers, and warehouse personnel.
- Maintaining accurate operational records and data entry.
- Providing general administrative support to the business as required.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in administration, accounts, logistics, transport, warehousing, or a similar role.
- Possesses strong organisational and time management skills.
- Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrates strong customer service and communication skills.
- Is confident working with inventory records, transport documentation, and invoicing processes.
- Has sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Is reliable, motivated, and able to work independently.
- Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting operational outcomes.
- Can effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
The following experience will be highly regarded:
- Inventory and stock control experience.
- Accounts receivable, invoicing, or general accounts administration experience.
- Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing, agriculture, mining, or bulk commodity industries.
- Exposure to container logistics and export operations.
- Understanding of freight coordination and transport scheduling.
- Experience using ERP, inventory, or transport management systems.
