Warehouse Supervisor

Our client is an Australian owned company and leader in the supply of drainage and hardware products. Our Dandenong South Warehouse is looking to appointment an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day to day operations and efficiency with customer products being distributed. 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet performance goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Schedule shifts and allocate tasks to maximise productivity.
• Inspect equipment and ensure proper maintenance of forklifts and other machinery.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse facilities.
• Prepare and review reports on inventory, productivity, and shipping metrics.

 
Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations (2+ years preferred)
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) as required - LF High risk work permit essential

Our warehouse is located in Dandenong South and we are looking for a motivated leader to join our small team. Salary will be NEG depending on experience.
