HDS is a fast-growing logistics company transforming how goods move across the country using advanced technology. We deliver chilled, frozen and ambient products to households, retailers and storage facilities nationwide.

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Chiller Warehouse Supervisor to join our Ravenhall operation.

This role requires someone who knows warehouse operations, knows how to lead people and can confidently take ownership of a busy shift. You’ll be responsible for leading our chiller team and ensuring the operation runs safely, efficiently and to a high standard every day.

The Opportunity

As Chiller Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the chiller function, leading your team to deliver against safety, productivity, quality and service expectations.

You’ll need to be visible on the floor, understand what good warehouse performance looks like and be comfortable making decisions, managing workflow and holding your team accountable.

This is a genuine operational leadership role suited to someone with proven warehouse supervisory experience who can step in and add value from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations within our chilled warehouse environment
• Manage staffing, workflow, rostering and labour allocation across the shift
• Lead, coach and develop team members and drive strong performance
• Monitor productivity and ensure SLA and operational targets are achieved
• Track KPIs and actively manage labour costs, including overtime
• Lead pre-starts and maintain a strong, visible safety culture
• Ensure food safety, quality and operational processes are consistently followed
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly to keep the shift running smoothly
• Hold team members accountable for performance, safety and process compliance
• Escalate issues where required and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated experience leading a team within a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or experienced Team Leader
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, labour planning, workflow and productivity
• Experience working with warehouse systems (WMS) and operational KPIs
• The confidence and leadership capability to manage people, set expectations and address performance issues
• A hands-on leadership style – you’re comfortable being on the floor and leading from the front
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and keep a busy operation moving
• Flexibility with working hours and availability to support operational requirements across different shifts when required
• A strong focus on safety, service, quality and accountability
• Experience within chilled, cold-chain, food or FMCG environments will be highly regarded
• Forklift licence and/or HACCP knowledge will be desirable
