Club Assist, part of the AMS Group, is a national leader in automotive and mobility solutions. As the battery and roadside support specialists within AMS, we help keep motorists moving across Australia. We’re now seeking a proactive, safety‑first Warehouse Supervisor.
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor leads a team of storemen and drivers to run day-to-day operations at our Distribution Centre of Excellence (DCoE) - keeping stock moving accurately and safely, and building a team that takes pride in getting it right.
What you’ll do
Safety leadership: Lead a safe workplace by ensuring warehouse and distribution activities meet WHS requirements and customer expectations.
Team leadership & capability: Supervise, coach and motivate a team of operators and drivers, building strong routines, accountability and skill across key warehouse processes.
Operational excellence: Oversee inwards/outwards goods, stock control, and the accuracy and efficiency of receiving, storage and dispatch.
Systems & continuous improvement: Support better ways of working through process discipline, clear communication and confident use of WMS/ERP tools as we continue our digital journey.
Coordination & relationships: Work closely with internal stakeholders and transport partners to keep service levels high and issues solved fast.
What you’ll bring
Safety-minded leadership
12+ months’ experience supervising in a warehouse distribution environment
Valid forklift licence
Working knowledge of WHS/OH&S legislation and safe warehousing practices
Strong communication, problem-solving and time management
Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office) and confidence learning/using warehouse systems
Experience with WMS/ERP (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP)
Nice to have: Battery or Dangerous Goods knowledge, MR licence, warehouse/distribution qualifications.
