We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. The position will be on a casual basis, working full-time hours, with potential to transition to a permanent role depending on performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organised warehouse. The Warehouse Storeperson will work closely with other team members to ensure that all products are properly stored and ready for dispatch.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Manage inventory and ensure that all products are properly stored
- Pick and pack orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies
- Communicate with other team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Skills:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment, and freezer
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Comfortable to work in freezer environment
- Experience with ERP system preferred
