About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in a fast-paced seafood processing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives on driving operational efficiency, developing high-performing teams and maintaining exceptional standards of safety, inventory control and customer service.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of inventory, supporting production operations and delivering outstanding service to both internal and external customers.

The position will be Permanent, Full-Time role based in our processing facility in Morningside, QLD. 38 hours/week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management and dispatch.
• Ensure warehouse activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.
• Develop and lead a high-performing warehouse team through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight to meet customer and production requirements.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), food safety and quality standards.
• Manage warehouse resources, equipment and labour to achieve operational targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse performance, service levels and cost efficiency.

Experience and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role.
• Previous experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG or seafood processing is highly regarded.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience coaching and developing teams.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics processes.
• Sound knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.
  Experience working within HACCP, GMP or food safety environments is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Current Forklift License (LF) is desirable.
