Responsibilties
– Receiving checking incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality
– Assign product storage in the warehouse
– Collate items as per BOM
– Dispatch of products and materials
– Co-ordinate deliveries
– Assisting with inventory management and stock control procedures
– Supporting the processing of orders
– Completing daily warehouse tasks such as housekeeping and general administration
– Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trolleys
– Assist with maintaining the WHS system
– Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
– Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
– Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes and procedures
Skills and experience
– Previous experience in a similar operations or warehouse role, preferably in the manufacturing
– Proficiency in production management systems, ERP/MRP platforms
– Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
– Good numerical and data entry skills with an eye for detail
– Forklift license and experience in operating warehouse equipment
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
– Adaptable and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities
– Physical fitness to perform manual handling duties
– Familiar with ISO, safety, and environmental systems.
– Sound understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles as advantage
