The MEC Approach
We’re building careers that last decades, not just filling rosters.
While some companies inflate titles and salaries to attract talent in a hot market, we focus on sustainable career development. Our engineers are valuable because of their skills, not just their years of service.
As the mining sector continues to evolve, our people have real expertise that stands up to scrutiny. They become the technical specialists, the peer reviewers, the go-to experts. That’s the career we’re offering you!
Why this role is different – Your Support Network
- Frequent collaboration with your Manager and Principals (AusIMM CPs, 15-25 years’ experience)
- Technical backup when you need it - got a complex geotechnical question? Call our Principal Geotech
- Multi-disciplinary team: mining, geology, resource, geotech, environment.
- Mentorship that actually happens. Not “when they have time,” but structured and aligned to your career goals.
- Peer network of mining engineers at your level solving similar problems.
- You’re supported, not isolated. You’re trusted, not micromanaged.
What Your First Year Could Look Like
