We’re currently expanding our team and looking for an experienced Transport Scheduler to join us at our Yarwun Depot.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Transport Scheduler to oversee the scheduling and coordination of Dangerous Goods transport operations. This role is vital in ensuring efficient use of equipment, compliance with transport regulations, and the delivery of exceptional customer service across our operations.

This position operates on a 7:7 roster, providing a great work-life balance in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule drivers and loading activities for Dangerous Goods transport.
• Liaise with drivers, customers, and load sites to maximise fleet utilisation and meet delivery demands.
• Monitor compliance with mass management, fatigue management, and customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate records including compliance data, maintenance routines, and billing information.
• Track deliveries, analyse DIFOT data, and contribute to fixed and variable reporting metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar transport or logistics role.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling and scheduling processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and problem-solve effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport management systems.
• QESC ticket (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong focus on compliance, safety, and operational excellence.
