Join Fulton Hogan as a Transport Manager based at our Minto, NSW facility and play a key role in leading safe, efficient, and reliable transport operations. In this leadership position, you'll oversee fleet performance, transport scheduling, compliance, and customer outcomes while driving a strong safety culture across the business.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of daily transport operations, lead and develop a high-performing team, and work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional service. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll be empowered to identify efficiencies, optimise performance, and contribute to the ongoing success of Fulton Hogan's transport operations.
How you’ll connect to the role?
To be successful in this role, you'll bring proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations, along with strong leadership and people management skills. You'll have a solid understanding of transport compliance requirements and be passionate about creating safe, productive, and customer-focused outcomes.
We're looking for someone who can also demonstrate:
Strong knowledge of NHVR requirements, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and transport compliance obligations.
Experience managing transport scheduling, fleet utilisation, maintenance requirements, and operational performance.
The ability to lead, mentor, and develop drivers and transport teams to achieve business objectives.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, subcontractors, and operational teams.
A proactive approach to safety, risk management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Well-developed commercial acumen with experience monitoring KPIs, budgets, and transport costs.
Dangerous Goods experience is advantageous, however training can be provided.
