About the role
We are seeking a hard working, reliable candidate, with a current Forklift licence, to work as a Trades Assistant for our Plate Boats team based in Coomera. Duties include operating forklift to move parts and stock around, assisting with cabin top installs and tacking of boats, maintaining accurate records of parts, assisting welders and general labouring duties.
These are full time, permanent roles working 6am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday (40hrs/ week).
What we are looking for:
- Current Forklift ticket (LF)
- Be physically fit and able to undertake manual labouring tasks
- Willingness to learn. All training will be provided.
- Reliability with great attendance
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
- Be a great team player who is willing to learn
- Show initiative and enthusiasm
- Have your own reliable transport and Driver’s License
- Have full Australian working rights
- Attention to detail and take pride in the quality of your work
- Willingness to learn and develop skills within our boat building operations
