• Day Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• After the initial 3-month period, successful candidates will move to a fortnightly rotating roster:
  • Day Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

About the Client

Our client is a global engineering company servicing the mining and resources sector. They manufacture and service industry-leading equipment and solutions for rock processing, including crushing, screening, breaking, and demolition.

Sure People Solutions is currently seeking experienced Trade Assistants to join their busy workshop in Jandakot.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Extensive experience building and assembling screening equipment/screens (essential)
• Strong experience using both power tools and hand tools (essential)
• Mechanical aptitude and workshop experience
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Excellent attention to detail
• A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Eligibility to work in Australia

The Role

• Assemble and build screening equipment to a high standard
• Assist qualified tradespeople with workshop duties
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment
• Load, unload, and move materials using a forklift
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Attend toolbox and workshop meetings
• Perform general labouring and workshop duties as required

Essential Requirements

Applications will only be considered if you meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
• Extensive screen-building/assembly experience (MUST HAVE)
• Strong experience using power tools and hand tools (MUST HAVE)
• Forklift Licence
• Construction White Card
• Current National Police Clearance with no disclosable outcomes (or the ability to provide a clean NPC prior to commencement)
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Mechanical workshop experience
• Two contactable work references
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening

Highly Regarded

• Dogman Ticket
• Experience with welding equipment
