ROLE 1 - MECHANICAL TRADE ASSISTANT / WORKSHOP ASSISTANT
Malaga Location
$38.44 - $41.00hr + super + penalties
Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm + additional OT
Scope: Our client operates across a range of industrial and infrastructure environments, supporting day-to-day operations through the maintenance and servicing of specialised vehicles and equipment.
What Will You Be Doing?
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll get involved in a broad range of hands-on workshop duties, including:

• Assisting with repairs and preventative maintenance on vacuum trucks, jetter trucks, sweepers, prime movers and tippers
• Assisting with basic welding, metal fabrication and minor component repairs
• Using workshop tools, machinery and equipment
• Operating the forklift to move parts, stock and equipment
• Assisting with stock counts and parts organisation
• Keeping the workshop clean, organised and ready for daily operations
• Supporting the Workshop Manager with other tasks as required

ROLE 2 - PRODUCTION LABOURER / FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Malaga Location
$36.00/hr + super + penalties
Monday to Thursday, 6:30am-3:00pm | Friday, 6:30am-12:30pm + additional OT
Scope: Our client is a global manufacturer of insulated panels used across residential and commercial buildings, with a busy production facility requiring hands-on support across daily manufacturing operations.
What Will You Be Doing?
Working as part of the production team, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the panel and door production line, including:

• Strapping, packing and labelling finished products with customer job numbers
• Assisting with loading steel coils into the production line for processing
• Unloading and manually handling styrene blocks
• Cutting various materials as required
• Operating the forklift to move stock and materials around the facility
• Cleaning and maintaining machinery and surrounding production areas
• Supporting general production and labouring tasks as required

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR EITHER ROLE?

• Previous experience in a mechanical workshop, trade assistant, production, manufacturing, labouring or similar hands-on role
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Forklift licence and operating experience 
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and/or Drug & Alcohol assessment
• Full working rights
• Construction White Card, or willingness to obtain one (for role 1)
