Summary: 

We are seeking a dedicated Telecommunications Rigger to join our team in Dalby, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our operations and enhancing connectivity for our clients across the region. 

Responsibilities: 

• Install and maintain telecommunications equipment and infrastructure, including antennas and cables. 
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine installation requirements. 
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all rigging activities. 
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to execute installation plans effectively. 
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on telecommunications systems to ensure optimal performance. 
• Document all work completed and report any issues or concerns to management. 

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in telecommunications rigging or a related field is preferred. 
• Hold a High Risk licence in Intermediate Rigging or higher
• Driver’s Licence Car (Light/Heavy rigid Vehicle would be bonus )
• Hold or have held an RF awareness certificate (Show knowledge of and pass a test )
• Hold a current White Card
• Hold a current Telstra Induction Card
• Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Hold a current working at heights and Tower Rescue Certificate
• Pass regular medical appraisals (fit to climb)
• Having appropriate EWP, Fork lift, Crane operator, mobile plant licences would be viewed favourably
