We are looking for a talented Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team in Scoresby, VIC. This role will have a focus on manufacturing and assembly work of generator sets in our Scoresby manufacturing facility.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer specifications, quality standards and production requirements
Performs quality inspections, identifies non-conforming materials and follows processes to ensure product quality
Works to defined production targets, cycle times and engineering standards to achieve operational goals
Completes routine housekeeping, machine cleaning and planned operator care activities to maintain a safe and efficient work area
Uses hand tools and performs mechanical or electrical assembly tasks as required
Collaborates with peers, skilled trades and support teams to identify equipment issues and support timely repairs
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Current Electrical License valid in Victoria
Manufacturing experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience required
Forklift license LF
High attention to detail
Ability to work within a repetitive process environment
Qualifications
Requires performing mechanical assembly work in Upfit area as well
