About the opportunity

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for identifying, attracting, assessing, and hiring candidates at WorkSafe.

An essential focus of the TAS role is to be a key strategic partner to the business in utilising your expertise to inform, educate and advise hiring managers and candidates on the interpretation and application of recruitment processes, policies and Talent Acquisition strategies; ensuring consistent, accurate and strategic advice is provided.

 

In this role, as the TAS, you will enjoy working alongside a highly collaborative and knowledgeable team, where innovation is encouraged.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery across the full recruitment lifecycle from attraction to onboarding
  • Influence and motivate stakeholders (candidates, hiring managers, recruitment agencies), through complex offer negotiations, to join WorkSafe
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with peers and senior internal stakeholders. Proactively building relationships with Hiring Managers to understand business requirements and achieve recruitment outcomes by providing specialist assistance as a trusted advisor in Talent Acquisition
  • Build relationships with candidates at all levels to ensure a positive experience and fair process

About you

 

  • You will have exceptional stakeholder management across all levels and have the ability to provide expertise in recruitment including strategic sourcing initiatives
  • You will bring a strong positive candidate experience focus
  • You will be able to undertake work that is complex in nature, under limited direction
  • You will have experience operating within a complex organisation and bring a strong understanding of contemporary selection strategies and behavioural based interviewing
  • Experience using ATS (SuccessFactors desirable)

 

Due to the fixed term nature of this opportunity, recent experience in a similar role within Talent Acquisition is required.
