As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Business Partner to lead our recruitment, onboarding, and induction functions and help us attract, engage, and retain exceptional talent.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this is a pivotal role that partners closely with Executive Leaders and Managers across the business to deliver strategic and operational talent acquisition solutions. You will lead end-to-end recruitment activities, oversee our employee induction program, build talent pipelines for future growth, and supervise our Recruitment Consultant to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, service-oriented recruitment function.

If you are passionate about building high-performing teams, creating outstanding candidate experiences, and influencing workforce strategies, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with Executive Leaders and Managers to identify workforce requirements, workforce risks, and future talent needs.
  • Develop recruitment strategies and talent acquisition plans for critical, specialist, and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Build talent pipelines, talent communities, and succession pathways to support long-term workforce capability.
  • Provide market insights and advice on workforce trends, candidate availability, and attraction strategies.

End-to-End Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruitment across academic, professional, leadership, and executive positions from workforce planning through to appointment.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and selection strategies that attract high-quality candidates.
  • Manage advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, reference checking, employment verifications, and offer processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance recruitment outcomes, efficiency, and quality of hire.

Employer Branding & Talent Attraction

  • Strengthen the College’s employer brand through targeted attraction and engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to promote Stanley College as an employer of choice across digital and traditional channels.
  • Build relationships with universities, professional associations, industry bodies, and talent networks to increase candidate reach and talent pipelines.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and equitable hiring practices throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Candidate Experience & Onboarding

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through professional communication, timely engagement, and best-practice recruitment processes.
  • Lead and continuously improve the College’s onboarding and induction framework to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, induction programs, compliance requirements, and onboarding milestones across business units.
  • Support new employees and hiring managers throughout onboarding and probation, using feedback and retention insights to drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Partnership & Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on recruitment, workforce planning, talent acquisition, and hiring best practice.
  • Coach managers on interviewing techniques, selection methodologies, and workforce decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the team while ensuring service delivery standards, workloads, and performance outcomes are achieved.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement within the recruitment function

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
