ABOUT THE ROLE

Slattery Grays currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Storeperson – Wine to join our motivated, friendly, customer-focused and hardworking warehouse team at our Yennora NSW site. You’ll be working to receive, handle, locate and pick goods within a team that is safety-focused and committed to working together and looking out for one another.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring deliveries are received, processed, and stored in a safe and correct manner

• Booking in assets (high value wines and spirits) — ensuring descriptions and photographs are accurately captured

• Maintaining accurate records and assisting with inventory and quality control

• Labelling, putting away and transferring stock in line with established processes

• Performing counts and stocktakes as required and maintaining minimum consumable levels

• Operating manual handling equipment

• Taking a proactive role in ensuring the health and safety of your colleagues and customers.

*Please note that this role does involve some heavy lifting.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A positive, team and customer focused attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A Forklift Licence
• A willingness to help with various ad hoc tasks as required
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work with computers, cameras, basic stock management systems and a basic level of Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Experience or knowledge of wine will be highly valued
• Experience with processing returns would also be advantageous.
