Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Storeperson who is willing to learn and enjoys working in a collaborative team setting. In return, you’ll receive a competitive remuneration package and bonuses based on achieving key performance indicators.

Roster: 2/1 - 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Off 
Shift Length: 12-hours 
Hourly Rate: $49.90 per hour + Superannuation
Type: Permanent Position

A day in our workshop could see you:

  • Purchasing inventory, stock management and storage.
  • Supporting the maintenance team to establish supply agreements with key suppliers/OEMs.
  • Engaging with suppliers for quotes, raise purchase orders, receipt POs on delivery and put physical stock away.
  • Ensuring the development of standard equipment BOM’s for all equipment service tasks
  • Proactively engaging in the maintenance planning process
  • Supporting the maintenance team with the sourcing and supply of parts as required
  • Reporting on and improving key inventory KPI’s

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience within a relevant role within the automotive industry including experience in parts interpreting
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to access and use computer and other required software programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
