Store Person / Dogman

• We are currently seeking an experienced Store Person to join our residential construction team located at our project in Burpengary in Moreton Bay. This is an ideal role for a person who has experience in managing stock plus has general labouring skills to cover a range of duties including manual handling, stores duties, assisting tradesmen and general cleaning.

Do you know your way around a warehouse and can keep track of inventory with ease? Our Store Person will take delivery of all orders, track where they are stored in containers and organises all supplies in the laydown area. We have robust systems already in place and thorough training plans so you will hit the ground running.

Ideally you will also have a Dogging licence, or willingness and ability to obtain one. As our site gets up and running, the Store Person role will also assist with dogman responsibilities. 

This is a varied role, and as mentioned will include dogman work. You will ideally have experience within construction industry, are proactive about organising and tidying your site. Most importantly, you are a person who is very WHS aware.

Primary duties will include:

• Unloading, unpacking, and receipting incoming stock and materials
• Checking both incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and quality
• Managing stock/inventory control (including implementing processes)
• General labourer duties
• Packaging of all outgoing orders
• Ensure that a clean and safe working environment is upheld
• Dogging duties as licenced and required.

About You

• General warehouse and/or stocktaking experience
• A knowledge of residential construction or a construction background would be great but not essential
• General Construction Industry - White Card
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Enthusiasm and be results driven
• Fit and capable of physical labour.
