DescriptionReporting to the Group Manager Asset Management this role provides Shutdown Management specialist support to site management teams focusing strongly on business process discipline. This role is the champion for the adoption and use of authorised Harmony Australasia Shutdown Management systems (primarily Pronto and Schedule for Work Mate) across the region.
This role will be based in our corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane with travel to multiple operational sites across Australia and Papua New Guinea.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of this role include:
- Custodian of the Harmony Australasia Shutdown Management Framework standard.
- Support site teams to implement the Shutdown Management Framework Standard.
- Audit sites to assess their maturity against the Harmony Australasia Shutdown Management framework standard and support the identification and implementation of improvement plans and opportunities.
- Improve Asset Management capability & consistency through coaching and development of site team members.
- Provide technical guidance and support for Asset Management processes such as Shutdown Management and Master Data management including KPI's, monitoring and control.
- Support the Specialist – Work Management to ensure the Shutdown Management process is embedded in the Work Management process
- Maintain the relevant Policies, Guidelines, Standards and Procedures.
- Work with the Principal Asset Management Systems to ensure processes and systems are aligned and support both site and corporate requirements.
- Proficient understanding and use of Critical Risk Management, Behavioral Safety and tools such as JSEA’s and Safe Work Procedures.
QualificationsAbout you:
To succeed in this role, you must be a highly experienced professional who is self-motivated and able to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment holding the following qualifications and experience:
- (Essential) Diploma or trade background with extensive maintenance management experience.
- (Essential) Proficient in the use of data/information to analyse Harmony Australasia Asset Management performance.
- (Essential) At least 10 years demonstrable experience in Asset Management in a mining environment with deep understanding of maintenance and reliability principles and processes including Shutdown management, Gantt charting and critical path analysis, defect elimination, component replacement programs, maintenance optimisation and maintenance strategies.
- (Essential) Extensive experience in Pronto or equivalent CMMS.
- (Essential) Proven track record in delivering Asset Management improvement programs.
- (Essential) Highly developed analytical and process driven focus.
- (Essential) Must have good personnel management skills, as this position has a very diverse work environment and interacts with personnel throughout the company, this includes knowledge of sites.
- (Essential) Able to work with minimum supervision and make decisions in relationship to the work being carried out.
- (Essential) Able to impart knowledge to other members of the group in a positive manner.
- (Essential) Good verbal and written skills and be able communicate work related issues with a variety of skilled people in diverse locations positions.
- (Essential) Must have computer skills and knowledge of spreadsheets and cost modelling tools.
- (Essential) Must have knowledge of the Harmony Australasia and global maintenance standards and information.
- (Essential) Must be able to work as a team member within multi-disciplinary team.
