What’s on offer?
We are looking for a Skid Steer Operator to join our Ormeau Profiling team, upgrading state and local government infrastructure including road reconstruction, intersections, and drainage to provide the region with better connections for the community.
You will be Responsible for:
- Complying with company policies and procedures.
- Supporting the Profiling and surfacing teams in the delivery of programmed works.
- Assist with the inputs required for all aspects of surfacing and civil construction.
- Reporting and monitoring of workplace hazards, risks, and incidents.
How you’ll connect to the role?
- Experience as a Skid steer operator using profiler, broom and bucket.
- Hold an active MR or above Licence and White Card.
- Be willing to be flexible and adaptable for a multitude of tasks, including asphalt crew roles.
- Possess a strong commitment to safety.
- Be available to work overtime as required.
- Be available to work/stay away from home, from time to time if required.
- Be a strong team player, reliable and hard-working.
The following would be advantageous:
- Experience in road construction and/or road maintenance/surfacing or relevant industry experience
- Hold current licence(s) on mobile plant, eg: roller, skid steer, or front-end loader
- Experience working in an asphalt crew
