Due to continued growth and upcoming projects, we are seeking motivated Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join our growing operations team.
About the Roles
These are hands on engineering roles responsible for supporting the successful delivery of civil construction projects across regional NSW, SA and ACT.
We are currently recruiting for multiple engineering opportunities across both Site Engineer and Project Engineer levels.
Successful candidates will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and site teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to specification.
Site Engineers will focus on day to day site coordination, quality assurance and project delivery support, whilst Project Engineers will take a broader role across project planning, commercial management, procurement and client coordination.
These roles are offered on a FIFO/DIDO basis on a 10/4 roster, providing the opportunity to work on major regional projects whilst maintaining a balanced roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of civil construction projects safely and efficiently
- Coordinate daily site activities with Supervisors and project teams
- Manage quality assurance documentation including ITPs, inspections and testing records
- Assist with project planning, scheduling and procurement activities
- Monitor project progress, productivity and program delivery
- Prepare and maintain site documentation, reporting and registers
- Support implementation of project safety and environmental requirements
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Assist in managing non conformances, RFIs and project closeout requirements
- Promote a positive, collaborative and safety focused culture on site
Additional Project Engineer Responsibilities
- Assist with project commercial management including cost tracking and variations
- Coordinate procurement activities and subcontractor management
- Monitor project budgets, forecasting and productivity performance
- Support delivery against contractual milestones and program targets
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
Selection Criteria
- Previous experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering
- Experience in a Site Engineer or Project Engineer role
- Strong understanding of construction methods, specifications and project delivery
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation
- Strong communication, organisational and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project Management systems
- Experience with TfNSW specifications highly regarded
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Silica and Asbestos (or willingness to obtain)
