What’s on offer?
Our Infrastructure Services business is now seeking a motivated and flexible Site Engineer to join the dynamic Major Projects team based in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane, Queensland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and help you gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. This position will require some local and regional state travel and/or night shift as per individual project requirements.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Delivering projects in accordance with safety, environment and quality obligations and company policies/procedures.
- Manage financials including daily profit and loss reporting and thorough record keeping to support potential claims.
- Ensuring all quality assurance and management activities are completed as per specifications and submitted to Client.
- Project support including procurement and organising of resources as required by the program along with daily shift reporting at the end of each shift.
- Oversee subcontractor HSEQ compliance and reporting to the Senior Project Engineer on performance.
- Establish and foster client, subcontractor and stakeholder relationships.
How will you connect to the role?
- Demonstrated experience as a Site / Graduate Engineer delivering Civil/Pavement and/or Airport projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil).
- Awareness of financial and contractual requirements in project delivery.
- Be motivated to learn and develop your skills via on site learning opportunities and monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
- A valid driver's licence is essential for this position.
