What’s on offer?

Reporting to the Construction Manager, and based in Rockhampton, QLD, or FIFO from Brisbane/Gold Coast, our Northern Region Construction business is seeking a suitably qualified Site Engineer to ensure designated areas of works are delivered in accordance with time, cost, and quality objectives on the Rockhampton Ring Road Project.

How will you connect to the role

• Quality assurance site surveillance activities including measuring, inspections etc.
• Ensure quality procedures are followed, and support team members to follow processes.
• Assist with preparation and implementation of work packs to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant activities.
• Resource co-ordination inc. material allocations, test requests, reconciliations, procurement etc.
• Productivity and cost tracking analysis.
• Implementing, monitoring, and reporting against weekly targets.

You will hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or equivalent tertiary qualifications and possess demonstrated experience working on major Civil Engineering projects. Detailed planning and construction staging skills, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills, coupled with the ability to take ownership and problem solve when under pressure will set you up for success. Knowledge of Primavera P6 advantageous.

About You

• Relevant Civil Engineering degree.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in civil construction background (roads, earthworks, drainage, or structures preferred).
• Excellent communication and a team player.
• Valid Drivers’ Licence.
