The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a passionate and professional Front of House Dining Room Supervisor to take charge of our dining hall operations at a remote Central Queensland village.

This is more than a hospitality role — it’s your opportunity to shape the dining experience for our guests and lead by example in creating a welcoming, high-quality environment.

This would be 14 days on 7 off roster where you’ll oversee the front-of-house dining room, guest self-service kitchen and tavern experience to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. 

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Oversee daily dining hall operations for breakfast, crib, and dinner services
• Supervise and support the front-of-house team on shift
• Ensure immaculate presentation and cleanliness across all service areas
• Uphold food safety and hygiene standards
• Capture daily photos of meal offerings to ensure quality and consistency
• Identify and resolve issues prior to service commencement
• Create a warm, professional, and customer-focused dining atmosphere
• Use your creative flare to ensure internal marketing materials are presented to the highest standard
• Work with the Chef to develop, set up, set down events to enhance the guest dining experience

What You'll Get:

To be considered, you need:

• Previous experience in front-of-house, hospitality, or catering supervision
• Excellent communication and supervision skills
• Positive attitude towards working in a diverse environment
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures
• Creative flair to enhance marketing and event experiences
• Must have a reliable own car or means of transport (to and from site)  
• Must be able to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical Assessment and Drug & Alcohol Screen.
• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Certificate (highly regarded).
• Valid National Police Clearance within the last 12 months.
• Full working rights in Australia.          
• Based in Central Queensland no more then 5hrs drive from Emerald or willing to relocate.
