About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Sheetmetal Tradesperson/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. This role offers the perfect mix of “on the tools” with the opportunity to upskill and pass on your knowledge to the existing team.
Your Skills and Experience
• Expertise in MIG & TIG welding across a variety of metals
• Comprehensive knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
• Mentoring experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• Proficiency with hand tools and the ability to identify materials by type and thickness
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a close-knit environment
• The ability to fabricate from CAD drawings with precision and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
• Manufacturing a range of metal products for a diverse customer base
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Assist in training and upskilling team members
• Conduct quality checks and inspections on fabricated work
• Maintain data and documentation through our QMS system
• Uphold OH&S standards and company policies
• Ensure project deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
