About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Brisbane CBD Service Team. The role will be reporting to an experienced Service Manager, and you will be responsible for minimising breakdowns and ensuring that all equipment performs to our customers' expectations.

We are looking for an individual who has demonstrated experience in dealing with the maintenance and service of both lifts and escalators.

Key Accountabilities:

• Carrying out regular maintenance
• Answer all calls promptly and provide an accurate ETA, in accordance with response terms
• Ensure that an appropriate person on site is kept informed of the arrival, departure, and status of the Equipment.
• In accordance with established procedures be able to shut down an escalator or elevator which is regarded as unsafe and unable to be made to function properly
• Propose material alterations where it is felt the performance of the escalator can be improved by doing so
• Ensure your work sites are kept tidy and that all paperwork is up to date

What we are looking for:

• A current electrical license
• Previous experience as a Lift Service Technician or a Lift Repairs Technician will be highly regarded
• A current driver's license
• Outstanding communication skills and customer service etiquette
• Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
