About the Opportunity

We’re seeking experienced Service Technicians – Heavy Mechanical to join our professional Service Team at our new site.

Most roles are workshopbased, working with specialised heavy equipment in a clean, wellequipped environment. We also have fieldbased positions for technicians who enjoy working independently and supporting customers on the road.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our equipment is safe, reliable and performing at its best.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Servicing and maintaining refuse trucks, sweepers, vacuum tankers and static compaction equipment

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults

  • Interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics

  • Performing major component rebuilds and overhauls

  • Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment

What You Bring

  • Proven heavy mechanical experience (plant, heavy vehicle, agricultural, mining or similar)
  • Strong hydraulic diagnostics and faultfinding skills
  • Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems
  • Fabrication and welding skills (MIG/TIG/Stick highly regarded)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • A practical, solutionsfocused mindset
  • Current Driver’s Licence

Trade qualifications are highly regarded — but not essential. If you’re a capable, experienced technician with strong mechanical aptitude, we want to hear from you.
