What’s on offer?

We wish to complement our existing Fulton Hogan Utilities team with an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Isolations) to join our 10 year program of works for the City of Gold Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further within a vibrant delivery team that is proud to partner with our client to deliver world class utilities services for the customers and communities within which we operate.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Isolation Planning/Coordination: Design, audit, and approve complex brownfield isolation plans, LOTO protocols, and sequence-of-works documents

• Project Interface: Coordinate directly with the operations teams (plant operators) to align construction outages with daily operational demands

• Project Delivery: Lead multidisciplinary mechanical, electrical, and civil site teams to execute upgrade projects safely, on time, and within budget

• Subcontractor Management: Supervise specialist subcontractors, ensuring adherence to Fulton Hogan frameworks, processes and procedures

• Provide leadership, direction and guidance to project staff in resolving complex issues

• Consistently producing and driving high-quality outcomes across safety, quality and cost, meeting both Fulton Hogan and client expectations.

How you'll connect to the role:

• Relevant Engineering Qualifications or equivalent experience

• 7+ years’ experience in Engineering role on construction projects in water infrastructure, Pipelines and Water or Wastewater Treatment Plants

• Deep understanding of fluid dynamics, valve/pipeline isolation methods, and high-voltage/low-voltage electrical lockouts

• Knowledge of project construction management, financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions

• Strong computer literacy and demonstrated competence in a variety of computer software packages
