We're seeking a Senior Estimator to join Fleetwood's Victorian Design & Estimating team, supporting modular construction projects across education, health, social housing, defence, government and commercial sectors.
You'll prepare accurate, commercially sound estimates and tenders, collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Project Delivery and Sales, and provide leadership and technical support to the estimating team.

Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documentation and prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates and first-principles pricing.
- Identify project risks, opportunities, cost drivers and pricing impacts arising from design, specification or delivery changes.
- Prepare RFQs and scopes of work, and source, evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Collaborate with Design, Sales, Manufacturing and Project Delivery teams, providing pre- and post-contract cost support.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to clarify project requirements.
- Maintain estimating databases, market pricing and cost benchmarks.
- Peer review estimates, mentor Estimators and support continuous improvement.
- Comply with document control, reporting and quality requirements.
Essential
- Minimum five years' estimating experience in construction, manufacturing, modular construction or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building trades and project delivery.
- Ability to interpret architectural, engineering and tender documentation and complete detailed take-offs and first-principles estimates.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify risks, opportunities and pricing anomalies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Modular, prefabricated or off-site construction experience.
- Experience with CostX and EstimateOne, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to established subcontractor and supplier networks in Victoria.
- Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant standards.
- Relevant trade, tertiary or industry qualifications.
- Work on meaningful projects across education, health, housing, defence and government.
