We’re now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team
The Role
As Senior Estimator, you’ll lead construction cost tendering and estimating activities for allocated projects, ensuring submissions are accurate, competitive, and aligned with Mono’s goals. Your focus will be on preparing, managing, and submitting tenders and estimates for Class 2 Residential and Commercial projects.
You will:
- Lead end-to-end tendering and estimating activities
- Review and analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare accurate budgets, quantity take-offs, and detailed cost estimates
- Participate in bid review meetings
- Source and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
- Collaborate with project and construction teams
- Maintain accurate records, drive continuous improvement, and share best practices
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities
About you:

5+ years’ experience in estimating and tendering for Class 2 Residential projects.
- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or similar.
- Proven experience preparing tenders for Design & Construct and lump sum contracts.
- Proficiency with estimating software (Cubit or similar).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
