Scraper Operator

About the opportunity 
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your key duties include, but are not limited to:

• General operation and maintenance of machine – preparation and position of machine for operation.
• Monitor operation of plant and adjust accordingly.
• Work from drawings as directed by Site Supervisors and Project Engineers.
• Use of GPS Systems - Topcon, Leica or Trimble. 
• Follow and ensure safe operating procedures at all times.

About You
We are looking for the following skills and experience:

• At least 2 years' experience operating a Scraper within a subdivision environment.
• Recent civil experience, specifically in bulk earthworks.
• GPS, Topcon or Trimble experience is a must as you will be operating front line machines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Current driver’s licence and plant tickets.
• Safety focused attitude.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Flexible to work and move across machines and sites as needed by the business.
• OH&S Induction card (white card.)
