What’s on offer?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Administrator to support our Health & Safety Team on the Coomera Connector Project based in Helensvale, Queensland. In this role, you will help with the coordinate safety documentation, reporting, compliance records, and day-to-day administrative support to keep site safety operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate safety records, including inductions, training logs, SWMS, permits, and incident reports.
  • Support the H&S team with tracking and scheduling of training, medicals, inductions, and certifications.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of safety communications, toolbox talks, and alerts
  • Help coordinate safety meetings, audits, and inspections by preparing documentation and taking minutes.
  • Ensure all site-based personnel have completed the required safety documentation management tools.
  • Maintain and update the H&S register, reporting systems, and documentation management tools.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and staff to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.

How you’ll connect to the role?

  • Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment, ideally in a safety or administrative support role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with safety management tool is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders on-site.
  • Understanding of safety documentation and compliance processes (desirable).
  • A proactive team player with a focus on continuous improvement and safe work practices.
