The Office of CEO leads enterprise thinking around strategy, strategic execution (transformation), inorganic growth (merger and acquisition) and AI as well as operates the Data Office and the Company Secretarial functions.
 
Step into an impactful specialist role where you will influence informed decision-making and strengthen risk management across the Office of the CEO.
 
 
The Role 
 
As the Line 1 Risk Manager for the Office of the CEO, you will drive the application of UniSuper’s risk management framework across the business unit. You will partner with stakeholders to improve risk capability, support operational excellence and deliver risk, compliance and assurance outcomes.
 
  • Drive risk profiles, assessments and proactive risk responses for the Office of the CEO
  • Influence senior leaders to address open risks, implement preventative measures and deliver timely closure
  • Deliver operational risk and compliance reporting that supports informed decision-making
  • Lead Line 1 control assurance reviews and audit activities, including responses to audit findings
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve risk management maturity
  • Lead risk training, workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the business unit

 

 

About You 

 

You bring strong risk management or audit experience and enjoy influencing outcomes through insight, credibility and collaboration. You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders, navigating complex risk matters and delivering quality outcomes.
 
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a risk-related role
  • Strong risk management or audit experience, with relevant accreditations preferred
  • Extensive experience in controls and process management
  • Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience coordinating audit and assurance activities
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Law or a related field
