Red Seal/Ticketed Carpenter
Northern Tropic Homes- Full Time Position: Summer's Monday - Thursday 7am - 530pm. Winter's Monday - Friday 8am - 430pm
- Company Vehicle: Comes with Gas Allowance
- Full Benefits: Beginning after 6 Months. Health & Dental
- Wage $35/Hr - $45/Hr: Negotiated, based on Experience
- Install Sunrooms, Solariums, Patio Covers, etc. to Residential Buildings
- Install Glass Glazing to Walls and Roof Systems
- Install Doors, Windows, Hardware/Locks, etc.
- Follow Blueprints, Building Plans, Engineering Speculations
- Adhere to City Inspections and Regulations
- Measuring, Cutting and Installing Wood and Aluminium Materials
- Construct Building Frameworks such as Footings, Support Beams, Floor Joists, Door Frames, etc.
- Inspect and Replace Damaged Framework or Structures
- Instruct and Direct a Team of Labourers, Apprentice/Assistant Carpenters or other Trade Helpers
- Provide Training/Assistance to Carpenter Apprentices and Assistants
- Complete Work Orders in a Timely Manner
- Provide Verbal Recommendations
- Perform all Work Duties in a Safe Manner and Follow Safety Procedures/Protocols
- Perform Duties Assigned by General Manager or Project Manager
- Complete all Work in a Timely Manner with Efficiency and Accuracy
- Provide Daily Updates/Communication to General Manager/Project Manager
- Use Buildertrend Effectively for Communication, Job Specifics and for Time Clock. (Must have a cell phone for App.)
- Red Seal Carpentry Ticket
- Experience in Carpentry and/or Glass Glazing
- Ability to Work in a Fast Paced Environment
- Demonstrate Ability to Set Priorities
- Excellent Communication Skills - Particularly in Leadership
- Demonstrate Reliable Attendance and Punctuality
- Ability to Work Indoors and Outdoors in all Weather Conditions
- Must have a Cell Phone for Communications and Buildertrend
- Must be Capable and Wiling to Use/Learn Buildertrend App Effectively

- Regular and Reliable Attendance
