The Role

We are seeking motivated Raisebore Assistants to join our drilling team. In this role, you will support the Raisebore Driller in the safe and efficient operation of raiseboring equipment on mining projects.

 

Working as part of a crew, you will assist with rig setup, rod handling, equipment maintenance, and general drilling tasks while maintaining high safety standards. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong work ethic who is looking to build a long-term career in the drilling and mining industry.

·         FIFO from Major Cities

·         Accommodation and meals provided

·         Full-time, permanent positions

 

Responsibilities

·         Assist the Raisebore Driller with daily drilling operations

·         Provide hands on support to raisebore operations by helping set up equipment, manage tools, and uphold site safety and efficiency.

·         Support the safe and efficient loading and unloading of drill rods, casing, and other drilling materials.

·         Follow all site safety procedures and company policies

·         Carry out manual handling duties and provide operational support

·         Maintain a clean and safe work environment

 

  Desirable

·         12 months experience in underground mining, drilling, or heavy industry

·         Working at heights

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening
  • Police clearance within 6 months
  • First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • White Card
  • Manual Driver’s Licence
