Quality Assurance Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to take ownership of site QA, lead a high‑performing technical team, and drive a strong Quality & Food Safety culture across a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with real influence in shaping systems, developing people, and embedding quality where it matters most, on the factory floor.

What you’ll be known for

• Building and leading a respected QA team on site
• Driving a positive Quality & Food Safety Culture, not just compliance
• Maintaining and improving the site Quality Management System
• Leading external audits and using insights to lift standards, not file reports
• Developing capability through training, skills matrices and coaching
• Partnering closely with Operations to embed QA into daily routines
• Using data, trends and lean thinking to drive continuous improvement
• Championing safety and compliant behaviours across the site

This role will suit you if you:

• Have 5+ years in a QA leadership role within FMCG or manufacturing
• Hold tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent
• Know GFSI standards and quality systems inside out
• Are confident leading audit processes (retail, third‑party, import/export)
• Care deeply about food safety and know how to get teams to care too
• Balance strong technical capability with practical leadership
