Pump Service Fitter

As a Pump Service Fitter, you’ll support our NSW operations by performing equipment assessments, repairs, and servicing both in-house and at customer sites. You’ll play a key part in upholding service excellence, safety standards, and customer satisfaction across our fluid motion solutions portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out pump assessments, internal/external repairs, and warranty evaluations
• Ensure quality of completed jobs prior to dispatch
• Operate and maintain service equipment, tools, forklifts, and cranes safely
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
• Follow all NOV safety procedures and company policies
• Provide accurate job reporting and timely communication
• Demonstrate professionalism, technical integrity, and a customer-first attitude

Essential Qualifications & Licences

• Trade-qualified Mechanical or Electrical Fitter
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Confined Space Entry (preferred)
• Disconnect/Reconnect Restricted Electrical (preferred)

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in pump and rotating equipment repairs (including Progressive Cavity Pumps)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with good time management
• Capable of using service software and internal IT systems
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required
