The Role

Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and construction teams, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of residential projects. This role will suit someone who is detail-oriented, commercially minded and confident working within a fast-paced residential construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate estimating and costing for residential construction projects
• Reviewing plans, specifications and technical documentation
• Liaising with suppliers, contractors and internal departments to obtain pricing and project information
• Managing and administering contract variations
• Ensuring compliance with current building codes, regulations and industry standards
• Assisting with cost planning and identifying value engineering opportunities
• Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the estimating process

About You

• Previous experience as an Estimator within residential construction
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials and building codes
• Experience using Databuild and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
