The Opportunity:

Lynas Rare Earths is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to support our operations in Kalgoorlie. Reporting to the Contracts & Commercial Lead, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with company policies.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong supplier relationships, and has hands-on experience using the Pronto ERP system. This is a full-time residential opportunity based in Kalgoorlie, working a 5/2, 4/3 roster (10-hour days).

As a highly valued member of the Lynas Rare Earths team, you will:

  • Managing the end-to-end purchasing process, from sourcing through to purchase order and invoice processing.
  • Raising purchase orders, verifying approvals, and ensuring procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Using Pronto ERP to accurately process purchasing transactions and maintain procurement records.
  • Negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and supply agreements with vendors.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and identifying alternative suppliers to improve value, mitigate risk, and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Assisting with purchasing and contract administration activities, including maintaining procurement systems and documentation.
  • Supporting process improvements and contributing to reviews of procurement procedures and systems.
  • Providing procurement administration support across the wider business.

What you will bring to the team:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
  • Demonstrated experience using Pronto ERP in a procurement environment (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, contracts, and commercial pricing.
  • The ability to analyse spending trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Well-developed written, verbal, numeracy, and computer skills.
  • Experience working with purchasing systems and data analysis tools.
  • A current WA C Class Driver’s Licence.
  • A qualification in Procurement, Business, Law, or a related discipline (desirable).
