Plumber - Sydney

TradeConnex is seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join one of our leading clients on a full-time basis in Sydney. This is a Full Time opportunity offering stability, growth, and the chance to work on a wide range of commercial and infrastructure projects.

About the Role: You’ll be responsible for the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems across various construction sites. From drainage to gas systems, this role requires technical precision and a strong understanding of plumbing codes and standards.
Responsibilities:

• Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
• Set out and install hot and cold-water systems and associated equipment.
• Install water-based fire protection systems including hydrants, hose reels, and sprinkler systems.
• Design and install sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes, and fixtures.
• Fabricate and install soil and waste stacks.
• Assemble and install mechanical services plant, air handling units, conditioning systems, and small-bore heating systems.
• Install sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems.
• Install below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support structures.
• Install gas appliances, flues, and pressure-regulating devices.
• Fabricate and install metal roofing, rainwater goods, and flashings.

Skills & Experience:

• AQF Certificate III in Plumbing or AQF Certificate IV 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing across construction or commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• White Card and valid Australian driver’s licence required.
