Civmec is proud to be supporting the Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery Project in collaboration with Iluka Resources, delivering a major package of Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation (SMPE&I) installation works across the facility.
As Australia's first fully integrated rare earths refinery, this landmark project is helping drive the future of critical minerals processing. We are building a skilled workforce to support the delivery of this exciting long-term project in WA's Mid-West.
Location: Eneabba, WA
Roster: 2 weeks on, 1 week off (11.5 working days per swing)
Travel: Company-provided bus transport to and from site via Perth Airport
Casual Rates (from 21 September)
- Pipe Fitter $65.00 per hour inclusive of 25% casual flat loading + penalties, $4.00 per hour site allowance
Full-Time Rates (from 21 September)
- Pipe Fitter $52.00 per hour + penalties
- $4.00 per hour site allowance
- $200 travel allowance per completed swing
- $100 per week project completion bonus accrual
- 1.75 hours severance accrual per completed week
The Role
- Fabrication and installation of various sizes of pipework consisting of a range of exotic materials and associated piping components.
- Cut, bevel and fit up pipes in accordance with isometric drawings.
- Assemble pipe spools including all valves and associated instruments.
- Work with other disciplines including riggers to position and erect pipes of various sizes.
- Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition. Lock them away or return to store when not required
- Demonstrated experience with Pipe Fitting
- Perform other general duties as required
About You
- Australian Trade Qualification
- Current Work Safely at Heights Certificate
- High Risk work licence with EWP (WP)
- Current Drivers License
- Previous construction experience within the mining and resources (preferable)
- Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
